Art 'Otel Battersea London - Hotel Review

Art 'Otel Battersea London - Hotel Review

We stayed in the fabulous Art ‘Otel Battersea and I wanted to share a bit a bit about the experience as it was wonderful and I can see why it’s called “London’s hottest new hotel”.  I don’t know about you but I love a referral when staying somewhere new. Read until the end to hear my tip on getting a discount on your room!
If you’re not familiar with Battersea Power Station it is worth a visit in itself, the iconic building now houses a fabulous shopping centre and lots of lovely restaurants. It’s a really nice area to hang out in.

The Art ‘Otel truly exceeded my expectations. As per the website blurb it fuses art, design and hospitality and it really does! If you’re looking for a discuss stay in London, look no further.

My main reason for choosing this hotel was to see the rooftop pool and the views but I wasn’t prepared for how wonderful the rest of the hotel was.

The lobby alone deserves a mention. I could happily while away a few hours sitting there. It’s such a great space,it’s so cool and unique yet still comfortable and welcoming. There is fabulous art. Like everywhere. It’s just a wonderful space. The design of everything is is just stunning and it felt really special staying there.

We were greeted at reception and given a voucher for a glass of Prosecco each, we were checked into our rooms and the room was fabulous. Floor to ceiling windows with 10th floor city views, fabulous furniture against a great colour palate and of course the art!

Details like a complimentary plate of macaroons , a Illy coffee maker, Robert’s radio, a complimentary soft drink minibar, a great shower. Really comfortable beds (my sleep app told me I had  a very good sleep and I woke feeling great). The staff were extremely helpful and attentive.

Pool - the pool is a must see whether you choose to swim or not and regardless of the weather! It was busy when we visited (4.30pm) as it was the Easter holidays. I recommend checking with reception as to the best times. They also hold aqua aerobics classes in the pool, so worth checking out if that’s your thing. I didn't take pics of the pool as there were people in it so def worth checking out the website to see more of the pics of the rooftop and the pool.

Joia Rooftop Bar… it was pretty windy when we went up and we didn’t see this open but you can sit there anyway and enjoy the view. The bar opens at 5pm Friday, Saturday and Sundays from early April . I look forward to going back during the Summer to enjoy this!

Joia restaurant -  An exciting new concept created by two Michelin-Starred Portuguese chef Henrique Sá Pessoa, JOIA, meaning ‘jewel’ in Portuguese is chef Henrique’s London debut.  JOIA Restaurant offers guests dramatic views from the 15th floor overlooking the iconic Battersea Power Station and showcases Henrique’s vibrant, unique, and fresh take on traditional plates using the best of British and Iberian produce. They recommend booking ahead.

Tozi pizzeria and Cicchetti bar - offers all day dining and drinks overlooking Electric Blvd. It even features its own art gallery! Breakfast is also served here.

Checkout was a leisurely 12 noon and you can checkout online without going back to the front desk. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely be back!

TIP I recommend you get the Radisson app to book the hotel and you’ll get a much better price!
