A satin co-ord is so versatile and such an easy way to dress up. Love this outfit, it is perfect for drinks or a meal out and can easily take you from summer into autumn. This co-ord is from Karen Millen and now in the sale but would work with any satin co-ord. The brown peplum boob tube / strapless top is H&M and the accessories are all Scott-Samuel (of course!!)

The Peplum boob tube or bandeau really gives a great silhouette with the wide leg trousers and instantly elevates this outfit. It is also very good at hiding my bloated tummy. Brown and khaki or olive are a great colour combo as well. The joy of a co-ord is that it can be worn so many ways and the short works as a jacket here too. 

I’ve really gone to town on the accessories with this look. A fabulous oversized bag , the Drawstring Slouch Tote, carried as a clutch is minimal but looks great against this simple satin backdrop. 

 Bold bangles and cuffs,  Layered gold necklaces (my fave large gold T bar necklace) and earrings £25. The Oversized aviators in yellow, add to the overall effect and are great with slick backed hair.
