Astrid Zeegan @astridiwantyouinmylife is next up on the blog. Astrid has been hugely supportive since I first met her via Instagram and my other business, Mama Designs and now supporting Scott-Samuel. You may have discovered us because of her. Her account is absolutely fabulous. She has an amazing style and her photos are fantastic, helped by the backdrop of beautiful Devon. Not surprisingly she was just listed in The Times as one of the hot 20 over 50.

How would you describe your style? ..

I’d say eclectic .. I love loose .. I love shape but I’m equally as happy in wide leg joggers and a sweatshirt at home in my comfies .. I love clothes that have something different about them .. individual .. plus a huge advocate of sustainable brands

How long have you been on Instagram? 

3 years on Jan 19 th .. I started after a friend said I should have an account .. I’d never really even looked at Insta before that .. and so I  set one up without much thought to what I would post or even share .. I started with mostly preloved or charity shop finds and what I had in my wardrobe .. which I still do but with sustainable brands now included.

What is your fave independent brand and why?

Oh gosh that’s hard … plus I don’t want to upset anyone ..
I love The Makeshed for knits.  I love Keyandhare for the absolutely beautifully designed and made pieces but also love CeliaB for her stunning dresses and fabrics

Favourite season to dress for?

Definitely summer .. I love the one dress and flip flop ease plus everything looks better with a tan.

What is your favourite high street shop and why?

I think it would need to be Cos, as I love the shapes and the quality.

What is your go to look for dressing up?

Oh gosh .. I’d say something long  .. a special maxi dress or something masculine like a suit and chunky boots ..

Signature style for casual dressing?

I’m not sure I have one .. if I was at home .. wide leg loose joggers and a sweatshirt.  If our walking .. loose jeans and coat jumper.
If out .. it would have to be comfy .. stylish and colours that coordinate.

Oh definitely a beanie or a pair of shades .. both hide a multitude of sins, haha.

Are you a hoarder or a declutterer?

Oh a hoarder for sure.

Wear what makes you feel good as then you will look good .. be confident if you like something .. don’t worry what others think

Dream collab?

Ooo, I think I’d love to work with Sika Designs … such stunning stunning pieces I own one dress but love them all.
