I am writing this after the most AMAZING holiday in beautiful Lefkada (Lefkas), Greece, staying at 2S Cave Villas in their new villas. We paid for our holiday with absolutely no obligation to post this but after sharing some reels featuring the villa backdrop, I was asked questions by several followers about where we stayed so decided to write this review and share the love!
The Villa was incredible, easily the best villa we have ever stayed in. Everything about the villa was done to an extremely high standard, the minimal décor, the furniture, the pool, and set against the most fabulous backdrop of beautiful Sivota bay overlooking the Ionian sea and lush green mountains all around. The villa is built into the mountain side and you can enjoy the views from every room and the outside space also focuses on the incredible views. I am missing my morning coffee with that view!

We arrived and manager Dimitris was there to meet us. He was an absolute star and on hand throughout our trip to help. Nothing was too much trouble. He found us a cool box after I asked, pool toys for my youngest and offered advice on a number of things. The team at 2S Villas also helped us with arranging a taxi from the airport and booking car hire (to be delivered to the villa for part of our stay).
Properties
There are villas for different party sizes. We stayed in a villa with 3 bedrooms, to sleep 6. There are options on this site to sleep 4, 6 or 12 (villa Vita, Villa Delta, Villa Sigma, Villa Kappa, Villa Epsilon, Villa Theta and other nearby villas (villa Alpha and Villa Gamma sleep 8). All with fabulous private pools and amazing views.
Location
Lefkada is a beautiful Greek island accessed by the mainland by bridge. It has some incredible beaches, including two of the best beaches in the world. We flew to Preveza from Birmingham and the flight is only 3 hours 10 minutes, short for Greece. The transfer is an hour from the airport. Sivota is the nearest town to the villas, a 20 minute walk down a steep hill (we walked to the supermarket for pastries every morning) but drove for dinner in the evening. Sivota (or Syvota) is stunning. It honestly took my breath away. A pretty harbour with a mixture of yachts and traditional fishing boats filled with great restaurants, cute bakeries and gorgeous shops.
Transport
We hired a car as weren’t sure how easy it would be to get taxis back from town as a group of 5. Alex Rent a car dropped the car off and collected it. We decided to extend it an extra couple of days, which was easily done and they were really helpful.
Restaurants
We ate out every night and the food was great. Our favourite restaurants were 12 Gods, Stavros restaurant and Sivota Bakery Café for amazing burgers and ice cream. Sitting alongside the harbour is the perfect place to people watch and enjoy the beautiful views.
Beaches
We visited several beaches, Vasiliki (great for watersports, we paddle boarded here), Gialos beach (very long and surprisingly quiet with 2 great beach bars, but a very windy cliff drive to access it) and Agiofili beach which is a stunning little bay (accessible by water taxi if you don’t want to drive).
We were a family of 5, children ages from 7 to 19 and we all loved this holiday and the villa. The kids all said the pool was their favourite thing about the villa. For me the luxurious villa, the view and location. I could feel the stress melt away from my shoulders just looking out at this incredible view. We will definitely be back!
