I chatted to Lisa the founder about her story…
When did you start Tallulah & Hope?
We started the brand in 2010 (whilst still juggling our careers and small children) the brand originally just focused on resort wear and holiday wear.  Pre Covid in September we introduced more ready to wear styles.

Tell me a bit about the brand?
We produce sustainability in India and focus on elevated styles in unique prints and embroidery motifs.  Each season we incorporate artisan techniques into the collection for SS24 alongside our embroidery pieces we introduced woven jacquard.  The fabric’s motif was designed in-house in Folkestone and the cotton jacquard fabric produced in Salem, India celebrating the elegance of classic weaving using 200 year old technology and created on machines with 3500 needles working in sync.
What’s your background?
I worked in fashion and lifestyle PR and Zoe studied fine art and went onto Central St Martins.  Zoe’s career started as a fashion stylist but shifted into costume design and styling she worked on iconic shows like Absolutely Fabulous and international events include MTV European Music Awards (10 years as Head of Wardrobe), Laureaus World Sports Awards and she was head designer and stylist for the 2012 Olympics.
Do you have a favourite piece?
Having a favourite piece and is a bit like having a favourite child! There is one piece I love wearing so much our Hero kaftan black linen embroidered from SS23.  The design is like an over-sized T shirt it’s so easy to wear and the oversized simple silhouette feels really modern and effortlessly.  It’s made in linen with is a naturally sustainable fabric and luxurious complimented by our striking embroidery insignature bird motif.  It always receives so many compliments and women asking ‘where is that from?’
We have had so many interesting and inspiring women wear T&H but it’s not just celebrities we are thrilled to see wearing T&H. I think the most excited I ever got was in London when I jumped on the tube and I spotted a customer wearing a T&H dress she was obviously off to somewhere special and she looked stunning.  I wanted to go up to her but the carriage was busy and I felt too shy!
