You may have noticed that Sarongs are having a moment and I for one am a fan! Not only is a sarong practical, wear it as a scarf to travel in and then wear it soooo many different ways on your holiday.

Deer print, this Deer Print Scarf is such a cool print. Works well with colour or neutrals. I love how @katiemaxwellstylist has worn hers as a short skirt/sarong. To achieve this look you need to fold the scarf in half and tuck in or tie at the back.
Long sarong skirt - this is possibly the easiest way to wear your sarong. Simply wrap it round and tuck or tie. I tied mine here. This is the Cotton Scarf in dusky pink. It also comes in khaki, beige or brown. Bag is the Regular Leather Bumbag in khaki.

Sarong dress - a sarong dress works well with these scarves but could be a bit short if you are very tall. For reference i am 5,4 (and a half!). Simply cross it at the front and tie behind your neck. Below sunglasses are the Brown Oversized Aviators.

This method also works as a top and you can take more of the fabric for the halter part therefore bringing it up to waist length. Perfect with denim shorts! And don't forget your woven leather basket. Basket pictured here is the Small Woven leather basket in tan / brown. Sunglasses pictured are the Gold Oversized Round Sunglasses.

Double up - if you have two sarongs you could turn this into a maxi adding one as the skirt and one as a short dress / top. Colour blocking with 2 different colours or one print and one plain. As seen below (khaki and brown cotton scarves).

Sarong skirt with a shirt - I have seen this look a few times lately on Instagram and Pinterest and think it looks great. A linen shirt styled with a sarong skirt. I particularly love it with a plain colour or white shirt. Perfect for taking your sarong from beach to bar. (Image Ekaterina Zdanova from Pinterest)

I do love it with a white linen shirt but a bright shirt can look great with a printed scarf sarong. (Image VeronicaGris from Pinterest)

Scarf top / strapless top - a sarong can easily be worn as a strapless top or bustier with shorts too, simply fold in half lengthways and then tow at the back. I don’t know about you but I hate strap marks so always wear a bandeau bikini so this is perfect for a walk to the beach or shops in the sun!
Don't forget your sunhat and you are good to go!
