I thought I’d do a Spring trousers round up because for me this is the biggest shift in my wardrobe at this time of year… I don’t like being cold and I’m not ready for bare legs when it’s not warm all day! These beauties will see you through summer as well.
Gingham Trousers
OST gingham trousers. I have these in lilac and in blue. They’re lightweight, have pockets and can be dressed up or down. They are currently in the sale, less than half price at £18… go, go, go!! I like to roll them a little at the bottom to show a bit of ankle. Why not go full on matching and team with our checkerboard socks. I’m wearing mine with a white t shirt and cardigan with trainers . I love this white T by FWP by Rae, it is the perfect size, shape and Consider this your public service announcement if you are size 6 like me and never been able to buy kids trainers… these Nike’s are older kids and go up to size 6 and are less than £40! Here’s the link. These trousers also look great with sandals. Mine are a year or so old and I have worn them a lot. A great Spring Summer staple and good for holidays as they are really lightweight to travel in or to pack.
I have this Lindex lilac cardigan that I wear with them and I love it, this camel one also pictured above is from Oest who also have a great cardigan selection.

Pink Chino's
I was looking for a pair of pink chinos to replace some old ones I had when I had just had Daisy that I no longer fit and these M&S ones are perfect and a great price at £22.50. I wore them two days in a row straight after buying them which is testament to that! The perfect dusty pink (and of course they match my bumbag) these are great with pretty blouses, a white shirt, t shirts, a breton, trainers or sandals.
I am a sucker for a pretty blouse. I equally love these chinos with trainers and a leather bumbag or slightly dressier with a fringed suede bag and sandals and oversized sunglasses.
Wide Legged Trousers
The wide legged trousers in question are from H&M. I had seen them recommended on Who,What, Wear and they did not disappoint! High waisted, flattering shape and a little split at the ankle. Perfect. Even better they are reduced to £10 right now! You're welcome! I did a reel styling these wearing with a pretty blouse from Project AJ117 (last season)a breton and a white T. Here's some more ideas for you. Breton is from Baukjen and the coral sating scarf is here. This linen blend shirt is from Lindex. The clogs which I am obsessed with are from Penelope Chilvers and on my wish list! I have added our new crochet bag and oversized square sunglasses. I will be adding big gold hoops which are arriving shortly!
