I chatted to the lovely Sally aka @Mor_style all things style...
How would you describe your style?
I gravitate towards a style that feels refined yet easy- think chic, elevated and always effortless.
How long have you been on Instagram? Tell us a bit about your journey on there and what you share?
After nearly a decade in fashion, first as a buyer, then as a personal stylist; I took my styling work online during lockdown and haven’t looked back since.
Through Instagram, I share daily outfit inspiration, weekly shopping edits, styling tips, and seasonal trend updates - all with the aim of making getting dressed feel that little bit easier (and a lot more enjoyable!)
Whether you’re looking to elevate your everyday wardrobe or find fresh ways to wear what you already own, I’m here to help women feel confident and effortless in their own style, one outfit at a time.
What is your favourite independent brand and why?
Soru Jewellery is my go-to independent brand. I love their beautifully crafted Italian designs, gold-plated silver pieces, and the way each style adds instant polish to any look. Unique, bold, and effortlessly elegant.
What is your favourite season to dress for?
As a true Leo, I thrive in summer. Give me flowing fabrics, sun-warmed skin, and effortless dresses every time.
Favourite High Street shop and why?
COS is my current high street favourite - beautifully cut, minimalist staples that feel elevated yet accessible. Think quality fabrics, refined silhouettes, and the kind of pieces you’ll wear on repeat.
What is your go-to look for dressing up?
Right now, I’m loving lace slip dresses - effortlessly feminine and easy to style. I pair them with an oversized blazer, minimalist 90s style heels and always finish the look with a bouncy blow dry!
And your signature style for casual dressing?
My off-duty uniform right now would consist of wide-leg jeans, loafers or trainers, and a fine knit that is French-tucked! I’d top it off with my brown suede De Savary trench and, of course, a great pair of sunglasses to tie it all together.
What is your favourite accessory?
A great handbag - I’m loving my new woven black Bottega bag. It’s classic, chic and the woven leather adds a pop of texture to a look.
Fave piece from Scott-Samuel and how would you style it?
I love your brown large woven leather basket bag its giving total Dragon Diffusion vibes, I’d style it with wide leg trousers, an elevated tee and a bomber jacket for a casual every day look.
Are you a hoarder or a declutterer?
There are some pieces I’ll never part with, like my first date dress or the one I wore for my engagement - they hold too many memories. That said, I still love to keep my wardrobe refined and well-edited! Though I will admit, it definitely gets a little messy from time to time!
Best style advice/tip?
If you like it and feel good- I say wear the dress!
Dream collab?
Netaporter would be the dream!
