It’s wedding season. Unfortunately I have zero wedding invites but here’s what I’d be wearing I’d I had one! These outfits work for any summer occasion and these accessories will work time and time again.
I’m a big fan of Tallulah and Hope. Their dresses are stunning, really special stand out pieces. I love everything they do… here are a few of options that are beautiful occasion dresses and work really well with our handbags. For a wedding I would belt the embroidered dress on the right with an obi belt or our leather knot belt.
Project AJ117 - i love this Scandi brand. I have a few of their dresses and I wear them all year round. Faitheen (far left) looks fabulous belted with an obi belt or worn loose. This is a great occasion dress that you can wear lots in different ways. A lot of their collection is now on sale so it is a great time to buy!
High street dresses – I have seen some gorgeous dresses in Cos, Zara and even H&M have a great selection of dresses that look more expensive than they are. I also love the idea of a co-ord for a wedding as this can be worn separately or together time and time again.
Wedding bags - a statement handbag can update an old dress, a plain dress or any dress… our top handle leather handbags are perfect occasion bags and can also be worn as a cross body bag. We have heard from our lovely customers that these have complimented lots of wedding outfits already this year, including a few mother of the bride outfits. This fills my heart with joy! Metallics, brights or neutrals are all popular. Go for a pop of colour or twin your handbag with your shoes. Personally, I love the gold leather handbag. I think it looks great on holiday, in the summer and comes into its own again for Christmas party styling! I have this one and have used it a lot already and get compliments every time. Another great wedding bag is the Small Leather Bag. I love this soft pink but it also comes in stone, black and some bright colours too.
Belts - an obi belt Make your outfit next level in an instant. Match with your bag or shoes or go for a pop of colour or metallic. Or what about a simple knot belt over a dress.
Shoes - I’m loving independent brand Esska for wedding and party shoes. Not only are they super comfortable but they’re beautiful too. Their flat sandals are a little bit more special than an everyday flat, they are super comfy and still feel dressy and their heels are off the scale amazing and scream wedding! I love the fact that they go with so many of our handbags.
Other ideas for great wedding dressing include a fabulous pair of a oversized sunglasses and some layered gold jewellery or a statement necklace or earrings.
Happy wedding styling! xx
