Your Mother’s Day wish list and traditions

Mother’s Day Wishlist

A roundup from some lovely mums, customers and friends of Scott-Samuel. What they’d love to receive from Scott-Samuel as a gift this Mother’s Day! However you’re celebrating, I hope you have a fab one. Sending love and hugs to those who need it. ♥️

Naomi 40, from Birmingham
I love your Jewellery I’ve got the T bar necklace which I love so I’d really like the chunky necklace and bracelet.
Tradition - we like to go out for breakfast so no one has to cook!

Clare Louise, Cambridgeshire “Love all the retro socks , I’m 58 years young 😊
No traditions as such, just grateful to spend with my daughters. Used to always spend with my mum when she was with us. Always look back on grateful memories.”

Jo, Altrincham “the taupe cashmere neckerchief with the red edging. I'm 57 and from Altrincham, myself and my four children (3 this year as my boy is in Australia) always take my mother out for brunch.”

Coral, London. “XL leather basket for the wish list and traditions are my daughter brings me breakfast in bed with flowers. And she will usually cook me one of my favourite meals for lunch or dinner x x”

Gill, Liverpool.

"Yes defo another bumbag. I have Mulberry’s in my wardrobe but use your bumbag every day. I will order one soon actually as going to New York in April and could do with a more neutral colour. For Mother’s Day we always go to my mums. "

Karen . Sussex. I love the Brown Mongolian scarf
Face time children and grandchildren as they aren’t near me.

Tia, London. I'd love to receive the Brown Woven leather basket
We are going to Claridges for afternoon tea 🥰 with my mum, sister and our daughters

Claire , Wakefield, West Yorkshire “I’d love the Taupe Geometric Leather grab handle bag.
Mother's Day...make a fuss of my Mum and go out for lunch as I'm sick of always cooking for everyone! “

Maxine, Essex. “My Mothers' Day wishlist from Scott Samuel would be either:
The woven leather crescent cross body bag in tan or the large minimal handbag in brown from my husband and a cashmere neckerchief from my daughter.
Every Mothers' Day we go to our local pub bistro for lunch with my mum. It's our tradition that I don't cook, which is a miracle given I cook Christmas dinner every year when Christmas Day is my birthday!
I really look forward to not having to do very much. I buy my mum flowers or a plant. My parents buy me a rose for my garden. I love that because they will grow and bloom for many years to come.”

Courtney-Mae, London  - “so it would ABSOLUTELY be (I’ve been eyeing it up forever) the Leather Grab Handle Geometric Bags as a treat to myself. Something that doesn’t revolve around Minnie and nappies but a piece for purely myself to get dressed up with maybe even go out on a date night with. Mother’s Day traditions - probably a nice breakfast at home followed by a long walk and a roast. Pretty chilled but just as special. Xx

Helen - Birmingham “Bag
Charms !  No traditions - just that I get a cup of tea made and they are nice all day! X”

Susie, Northants
“Well if I hadn’t already ordered it .. I’d be hoping for the  brown suede doctors bag ! 🤎 Our tradition has always been a meal together .. in the past also with my Mum . Flowers 🌷 too . Always fresias for my Mum and for me too when my son was a youngster. Now he always comes over ❤️ he cooks and is brilliant at it too ! X”

Sam, Essex
Not really any traditions, I normally take mum out for afternoon tea xx

Rachel, Worcester
”Too many to choose from but I do love the Grab Handle Geo in Taupe with gold hardware…  On Mothers Day we normally go out for a nice lunch!”

Dawn , East of Edinburgh (by the beach!) - I’d love a new bumbag - .  Mother's Day will mean I don't make any meals. My lovely daughter (17) will have something planned, no idea, a video call from my son (21) as he is in London. Just giving me their time means more than any material gift they could give me tbh. My daughter usually makes a card and brunch of some description 😅a walk on the beach is always included.

Carly, Milton Keynes
“I’d love the neoprene bag, now I can finally ditch the baby bag this would make a lovely alternative and is waterproof so would cope with my kids!
On Mother’s Day we like to get up early and go for a walk in our local woods then we have a big roast dinner at home just the four of us. It’s heaven xx”

Kelly , Manchester
“Ooooh Smiley socks and sunglasses ALWAYS!!! My absolute fave from you as you know! I also LOVE the snakeskin bag so that would be added to the list ❤️❤️ Normally a lie in and a nice breakfast and then lunch out (if we can face it with three kids 😂)”
Faith, London. On my wishlist would be the Woven Leather Basket in brown. Usually my daughter makes me breakfast in bed with a cup of Oat Matcha for Mother's Day.

Amy, North Yorkshire
”So my SS wish list would be the neoprene bag and these sunnies. Mother’s Day plans are usually fairly casual. Our town hosts a Sue Ryder 5/10k run so Andy and the eldest are running again this year, it's always held on Mother's Day so it's never breakfast in bed for me, we're up and out cheering on the runners! We would usually call in and see our Mums with some cards/flowers and then I'm usually then treated with a meal out, just me, Andy & the boys 🥰🥰”
